What is Tim Tam Tum?
A traditional Madeiran liqueur at 25% ABV. It is neither distilled nor aged in casks: it is an infusion of fruit, spices and Madeira wine in sugar-cane spirit, sweetened with a syrup made over a low flame.
Does it contain any artificial ingredients?
No. All its ingredients are natural: sugar-cane spirit, Madeira wine, sugar, raisins, black Reine Claude plums, cinnamon, vanilla and black tea. It has no added flavourings, colourings or preservatives.
Does it have an expiry date?
No. Like every drink above 10% ABV, EU rules do not require a best-before date: its strength and its sugar preserve it naturally. Stored well, it keeps for years, and over time its flavours blend even further.
How should I store it once opened?
With the bottle well closed, somewhere cool and away from light and heat. It does not need to go in the fridge.
Is it normal to see a little sediment in the bottle?
Yes. As an infusion of fruit and spices, a light natural sediment may form over time. It is part of how it is made and does not affect its flavour or quality.
How is it served?
In a small stemmed glass or a short tumbler, without ice and at room temperature. On a hot day, you can cool it for a few minutes in the fridge. Sip it slowly, after a meal or with dessert.
How can I order a bottle?
Write to us using the form on this page, choosing “I would like to order a bottle”, by email or on WhatsApp. Tell us your country and how many bottles you would like, and we will reply personally with availability, delivery options and shipping costs.
Is shipping included in the price?
No. Shipping costs are added to the price of the bottle and depend on the delivery address and the number of bottles. We will let you know when we reply to your order, before you confirm it.
What if the bottle arrives broken?
Write to us within 24 hours of delivery, with photos of the bottle and the packaging, and we will send you another or refund you. You will find all the details under Returns and refunds.
Can I order it as a gift or for an event?
Yes. Choose “Gifts and events” in the form and tell us the occasion, the date and how many bottles you need. As we make it in small batches, we recommend writing to us in advance.
Is there a minimum age to buy it?
Yes. Tim Tam Tum is an alcoholic drink and is only sold to people aged 18 or over.
Can people with allergies or health conditions drink it?
