Black tea, orange and spice
A warm embrace of black tea, orange and Tim Tam Tum, to enjoy slowly on a cold afternoon.
Ingredients
- 40 mlTim Tam Tum
- 100 mlMild black tea, freshly brewed
- 1Strip of orange peel
- 1Cinnamon stick, small (optional)
- 5 mlLemon juice (optional)
Method
- Brew a mild black tea and remove the bag or leaves after 3 minutes so it does not turn bitter.
- Pour the hot, not boiling, tea into a heatproof glass or mug.
- Add the Tim Tam Tum and stir gently.
- Perfume with the orange peel and, if you like, the cinnamon. Adjust with a few drops of lemon.
More
- Why it works
- Black tea is one of the ingredients of the liqueur: here the two meet again, served warm.
- Tip
- Do not reheat the drink once the liqueur is in. Serve it warm, not hot.
- To serve
- A heatproof mug or glass, with the orange peel on show.
An alcoholic drink, for adults only. Enjoy it slowly and in moderation.
